We just finished unloading our truck from Antiques in Alexandria! It was a new show for us and interesting to see what people are collecting in other parts of the country. I really liked the booth we set up there, check it out above! Just when we got unloaded from Virginia, we loaded up again and tomorrow we are on our way to The Pier Show in NYC, NY! It’s nice to be home and we’re excited for another Pier Show!! Come see us this Saturday and Sunday, March 17 and 18 at Pier 54 in NYC!
Who doesn’t love a snow day! Due to the foot of snow on the ground At Home Antiques will be closed today Saturday February 9th. We will be reopening tomorrow at noon. Always remember you can contact us at any time. Hope everybody is staying warm and safe! We know this storm has hit some people hard.

January is one of the busiest times at Milne’s At Home Antiques! Americana Week in NYC is always an exciting, hectic, nerve wracking and ultimately rewarding time!! This year was no different! We truly enjoyed being a part of Antiques at the Armory which has become a go to show for collectors, decorators and those seeking ideas for their home. But, what was most exciting and refreshing was the upsurge in young people at the shows, shopping and learning about antiques and folk art and there intrinsic value. We feel energized and renewed by this and look forward to following this exciting trend!!

Next week in NYC is one of the most exciting weeks for antique collecting of the year! It’s Americana and Antiques Week and there are many wonderful shows going on. We will be at Antiques at the Armory, January 25, 26 and 27th. It’s located at Lexington Ave and 26th street, NYC. We are the front booth so you can’t miss us and we would LOVE to see you there!!

People always focus on personal resolutions for new years… I’m going to go to the gym everyday at 6am and work out for 2 hours!!! Or, I’m going to go on a strict diet and only eat green vegetables and brown rice!!! Most people don’t stick to their resolutions because they are simply put, completely unpleasant!
