Here at Milne Inc. in Kingston, NY, we design handmade, locally sustainable and resourced furniture. We would describe our style as eclectic, contemporary, sleek and warm with an industrial edge. We also do custom designs tailored to our customers specific needs and wishes. This can run the gamut from a country farm table in an expertly distressed finish to a bold industrial piece.
We only build quality furniture and we build everything by hand (to last). This commitment stems from living and dealing with antiques, and from admiring their history. We only want to build items that people are going to use and love for generation after generation. Everything is made by hand with locally sourced materials. We use vintage materials whenever possible, and pay our craftspeople a living wage.
We are focused on building a successful community in the Hudson Valley of like-minded people, not just focusing on our own business. The Hudson Valley has always been a magnet for the artistic and creative. There are so many talented crafts people in the Hudson Valley that are just waiting to be discovered!
